Each pair of Nortalie boots is made using 100% genuine cowhide leather, sourced exclusively from regulated suppliers within Mexico who operate under responsible livestock and environmental management. Because leather is a natural byproduct of the food industry, its use helps prevent waste by giving new purpose and longevity to a material that would otherwise be discarded.

Our approach prioritizes small-batch, artisan-led production, which allows us to maintain strict quality control while significantly reducing the excessive waste often associated with large-scale manufacturing. By focusing on hand-cutting, hand-stitching, and traditional bootmaking techniques, we are able to minimize the use of heavy machinery and industrial energy consumption - resulting in a lower environmental footprint and a more thoughtful, human-centered creation process.

Every Nortalie boot passes through the hands of skilled Mexican artisans, many of whom come from generations of leatherworkers and bootmakers.
